We are rescheduling our "Meet the Grazier!" event to next week, in anticipation of better weather. This will be an opportunity at the South Hero Farmers Market, July 8, to meet Eric Noel, the grazing manager at Health Hero Farm in South Hero. He will be available to talk with you about our farming practices. He can answer your questions about the special way we raise our cattle to enhance tenderness and flavor, while at the same time improving the fertility of the soil and the water quality of Lake Champlain. Eric has partnered with the University of Vermont to research on new methods for improving soil fertility and monitoring soil fertility at Health Hero Farm. Eric will be at the Farmers Market, at St. Rose of Lima Church, 501 Rte 2, from 4:30 to 5:30pm. We will also offer tastings, starting at 4:30pm, for as long as our supplies last. Come and savor how good 100% grass-fed beef can taste!
