The 4th of July book sale benefitting the Carpenter Carse Library is just around the corner and we need volunteers to help make this event a success! In particular, we need help with the following:
Moving books and tables to Town Hall from the NRG/Food Shelf building next to the library on Thursday July 2nd at 3PM.
Sorting the books in the big room on the main floor of Town Hall on Friday July 3rd from 9AM until we finish (hopefully around noon).
Selling the books at Town Hall on Saturday July 4th from 9AM until the parade begins and then again from the end of the parade until 2PM.
Giving away the remainders in the main room of Town Hall from 9AM to 12PM on Sunday July 5th and packing up any remaining books for transportation to Good Will, Recycle North and local CSWD drop-off centers.
If you are interested in helping with any aspect of the book sale, please contact me at heatherjroberts@gmavt.net or 482-2081. We would be glad to have you! And if you are aware of any non-profits or charitable organizations that could use free books, please encourage them to come to Town Hall on the morning of the 5th.
