As the City of Burlington celebrates Independence Day on Friday, July 3rd, all downtown parking garages and on street meters will offer free parking on Friday, the observed holiday. City owned garages will also be free on the actual holiday Saturday, July 4, 2015. This presents a great opportunity to celebrate the holiday and enjoy our downtown without worrying about parking.
The City is happy to announce after nearly two years of work with our parking consultant, Desman Associates, and our private partner the Burlington Business Association; the Downtown Parking Initiative report will soon be made available outlining a roadmap to the future of parking in the City.
