Kent Hill Road will be closed on Monday, September 16, for repairs to eliminate the horrible clay boils that erupt in the spring. The road will be closed for about seven to 10 days. The section for repair is currently marked with orange stakes. The town has rented an excavator and roller in order to repair both Moscow Woods Road and Kent Hill Road. The work on Moscow Woods Road is almost completed, and the road crew will move on to Kent Hill Road.

To avoid Kent Hill, there are two alternate routes to Gospel Hollow. From Kents Corner, take Robinson Cemetery Road to Apple Hill Road and turn right on Elmslie Road. Both Elmslie Road and Apple Road are in really good condition. Another route from Kents Corner is to go up Old West Church Road, turn left on Singleton Road and you’ll end up on Pekin Brook Road.
