WHAT: An end of the legislative session potluck and info event to recap the climate action highlights of the 2015 session and begin shaping priorities for 2016. This is a chance to meet and network with others who share an interest in climate change activism and to get up-to-date information on what is happening in Vermont and what you can do to influence Vermont’s safe and sustainable energy future.
WHO: Representative Mary Hooper, Co-Chair of the Legislative Climate Caucus, will offer her perspective on what’s ahead. Ben Walsh from the Vermont Public Interest Research Group (VPIRG), Jim Murphy, National Wildlife Federation senior counsel, Maeve McBride, 350VT and Robb Kidd from the Sierra Club will update us on the carbon pollution tax, tar sands, divestment and clean water legislation.

WHERE: New Shelter in Hubbard Park, Montpelier
WHAT TO BRING: Bring your own beverage and a side dish to share. 350 will provide paper goods, burgers (meat and veggie) to grill and condiments.
