Calling All Paddlers, Boaters, and Lake Champlain Enthusiasts!

On July 7th, one day after the 2nd year anniversary of the Lac-Megantic oil train disaster in Quebec, Canada - which killed 47 people and destroyed a town - we are inviting boaters and all other maritime supporters to join us for a rally and flotilla from 10AM to 3PM on July 7th at the Ticonderoga Boat Launch (boaters launch from VT side).

Starting at 10AM boaters will meet at the Hanson Rd public boat launch in Shoreham, VT off Route 73. Boaters will launch from there and paddle to the Ticonderoga, NY Boat Launch (approximately 1 mile north), for the rally. There will be plenty of space for everyone to store their boats or tie-up. There will be food, music, a rally, march and more exciting things!
