Author and Poet Tamra J. Higgins will lead a workshop Creating Images in Poetry,Wednesday, July 15, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the River Arts Center in Morrisville. Higgins is the founder of Sundog Poetry Center, an organization that promotes poets and poetry throughout Vermont and is the current President of the Poetry Society of Vermont. Her work has been published inPrairie Schooner, Passagers, Modern Haiku, Avocet, The Aurorean, The Mountain Troubadour, Vermont Magazine, and other publications. She is the author of Nothing Saved Us: Poems of the Korean War and co-editor of Tasteful Traditions: A Collection of Cambridge History, Memories, and Family Recipes.
