Neighbors,
On Wednesday, August 7, at 7 p.m., at the Fletcher Free Library, Vermont Public Television will screen excerpts of the film The Invisible War, which documents the epidemic of sexual assaults and the reprisals that can happen after a soldier reports an assault.
At 8 p.m., audience members in Burlington and online participants at vpt.org will discuss the issue. Veterans who can't come to the library or who want to remain anonymous are encouraged to join in online.

Angela Lakey, sexual assault response coordinator, Joint Force Headquarters, Vermont National Guard; BriGette McCoy, Army veteran, MST survivor and founder/CEO of Women Veterans Social Justice; Rebecca Robinson, military sexual trauma coordinator, White River Junction VA Medical Center. Kristin Carlson will moderate.
