Do you struggle with thoughts of suicide? Wonder what it means to want to die? Are you having a hard time finding someone to just listen?
Alternatives to Suicide is a mutual support group for those who are struggling with thoughts of suicide / those who have survived attempts at suicide. The meeting is a safe space where the subject of suicide can be discussed freely, without fear of judgement or stigma. It is facilitated by individuals who have experienced suicidal thoughts/feelings themselves.
Our first meeting is Monday, June 29 @ 3:30p-5:00p. The group is held at the Fletcher Free Library (238 College St) and will occur on a weekly basis. Free and open to the public. All are welcome!
