Now that summer is here, it's time to begin planning to make Plainfield's Old Home Days celebrations - scheduled for Friday, September 11th and Saturday, September 12th - a memorable, enjoyable time for all. In addition to the traditional community parade and chicken barbecue, last year's Old Home Days featured home-grown entertainment at the Plainfield Town Hall Opera House. If you'd like to help to make this year's celebration bigger and better, please attend the Old Home Days planning meeting on Tuesday, June 30th at 7 pm in the lower level of the Plainfield Town Hall Opera House, 18 High Street.
