Modern Times Theater presents “The Odyssey of Mr. Punch” featuring puppetry’s famous antihero, Mr. Punch, in a puppet show for kids of all ages. Inspired by Homer’s Odyssey, Mr. Punch undertakes an epic journey home to his queen, Judy, conquering many obstacles along the way. It is a hilarious take on a classic story, giving new life to traditional forms. This is hand-puppetry at its best in a style that has entertained children for centuries. In addition to the puppet show, the program also features live music, sing-a-longs, classic jokes and gags, and audience participation. ALL AGES!

Modern Times Theater is Rose Friedman and Justin Lander. They have travelled internationally as puppeteers, and are founding members of Vermont Vaudeville. The performance begins at the Jeudevine Memorial Library Friday, June 26, moves to the Greensboro Free Library Friday, July 3, and concludes at the Craftsbury Public Library Friday, July 10.
