The monthly Extempo story telling event will be held at one of the most scenic venues of the year this Saturday, June 20: The Blue Barn in Calais, hard by Curtis Pond.

For those interested, the gathering will begin with paddling and swimming and sun bathing starting at 2, followed by a potluck BBQ at 5. Story telling (BYOB) is at 8, and a bonfire follows.

Extempo stories are 5-7 minutes long and are true stories told in the first person. I'm almost always amazed at how good the stories are, and I'm pleased to feature some of them on WGDR from time to time.
