Consuming plants as food and medicine is an excellent way to deepen your relationship to your natural environment while nourishing yourself and preventing disease. Join clinical herbalist and community gardener Kate Westdijk for a tour of medicinal plants at the Riverside Neighborhood Garden. You might come away with a newfound appreciation for those “nuisance weeds”! Kate teaches and practices as a clinical herbalist and is a food systems researcher in Burlington.
