Celebrate Solar Tours:

There are a series of free solar tours around the state this Saturday, June 20th, including one at our house in Underhill Center. The tours are sponsored by Renewable Energy Vermont, VNRC, 350 Vermont, and the Sustainable Energy Resource Group. At our house at 64 Krug Road in Underhill Center, visitors will have the opportunity to see and talk about the following:
* 12.25 kW roof-mounted system on our barn
* Five 4.2 kW AllSun Trackers in our field
* "Group Net Metering"--we share our power with 7 households and one small business around Vermont
* 118 kW "solar farm"
* Solar hot water system
* Renovated 1850 farm house
* Cold-climate heat pump (efficient space heating system)
* 100% electric Nissan LEAF
* and more
