What kind of summer adventures are you planning?? Don’t forget to include a visit to the farmers market to pick up ingredients for summer dinners, picnics and parties.
How about making the Richmond Farmers Market itself part of your summer outings?
With school coming to a close for the year, you could plan to get together with school friends at Volunteers Green. Have a game of Frisbee in the field or play on the playground. then come over to the market for lemonade, maple candy, baked goods and more.
How about planning a canoe trip on the Winooski. Park your car up river, put in, and paddle down to the market for dinner. Plan to meet friends to drive you back to your car! Or park down river, paddle up to the market and float back to your car after dinner!
Have guests coming from out of town? Plan to bring them to the market to give them a taste of real Vermont community spirit. It’s a great place for them to pick up souvenirs to bring home to remind them of their visit!
