Shelburne Singer-Songwriter Shannon Hawley's CD Release This Saturday
Last year, I posted a note to the community about my wife, Shannon Hawley, who was working on crowdsourcing her debut full-length studio album. Great news! Thanks to all the Shelburne folks who contributed, "A Different Kind of Progress" is finished.
Now Shannon is pleased to invite the community to come out and celebrate her creation. An official CD release party will be held this Saturday at Burlington’s Study Hall at 209 College Street at 8 p.m. Multi-instrumentalist Matt LaRocca will accompany her for the show, with local MC Enemy Self opening. Tickets are $12, which includes entrance and a copy of the new CD. The event is BYOB and will feature lots of beautiful music, stories, and poetry in a living room type setting.
