BETH TELFORD AND SOPHIE ROE IN CONCERT AT WEST BROOKFIELD MEETINGHOUSE
On Sunday, June 28 at 4 P.M., popular Braintree musician Beth Telford will present a concert of Celtic fiddle music at the West Brookfield Meetinghouse. Joining her will be the accomplished Sophie Roe, a student at the Sharon Academy who has studied fiddle with Beth for 11 years.
Beth has played fiddle for decades, and studied with the legendary Cape Breton fiddler Jerry Holland. She has taught fiddle to area students for many years. Sophie has performed at the New World Festival and won awards at the Young Tradition Vermont contest.
Suggested donation for the concert is $10; children 12 and under are free. Refreshments will be served.
The concert will be hosted by the West Brookfield Village Trust, nonprofit owners of the West Brookfield Meetinghouse, located on the West Brookfield Road off Route 12.
