Green Mountain Bonsai Society invites you to its 33rd Annual Members Show to be held on June 21st at Mill Brook Bonsai, 32 Tarbox Road, Jericho. Guest artist this year is David Easterbrook of Montreal. David was classically trained in Japan and has become one of the premier bonsai artists in North America. He is the former curator (retired) of the Bonsai Exhibit at the Montreal Botanical Gardens, a frequent speaker throughout North America and Europe and has been one of the judges at the US National Bonsai Exhibition. His knowledge, willingness to share and his wit make for an interesting and fun day.
Program begins with a critique of members trees at 10AM and, after a break for lunch, will wrap up with a demonstration of creating a bonsai tree from nursery stock beginning at approximately 1PM. This will be the last Members Show to be held at Mill Brook Bonsai so please stop in to enjoy the relaxed and informative day as well as to say goodbye to Mill Brook Bonsai….Mill Brook will close at the end of the growing season.
Admission is free; there will be a Society sales table and knowledgeable people on hand to answer questions. Lunch provided by the Workman Family for those who have previous reservations….reservations now closed.
