Weekly Wednesday Meditation at the Library

Past event
Jun 17, 2015, 12:30 to 1:30 PM

Our weekly, community meditation circle is thriving & we welcome new folks every week!

No experience is necessary.

This is for anyone who:

*has been hearing about meditation’s benefits and would like to give it a try, but doesn’t know where to start;
*would benefit from the structure of a regular meditation session to support their new practice;
*is a regular meditator who would enjoy sitting in the company of other meditators; or,
*would savor a brief, silent interlude in the busy-ness of their day.

We will be sitting on chairs, but if you want to bring your own meditation cushion or bench, please feel free.

New to meditation? Welcome! Please, plan to arrive the first time at 12:30 and you’ll receive an orientation to and guidance in mindfulness meditation to help you get started.

Sit for 15 minutes, 20 minutes or more. Come when you can, leave when you need to; you don’t have to stay for the whole hour.

No worries if you need to arrive after 12:30! Just come into the meeting room quietly and have a seat. The established silence will help you to settle in.
