Join Pathways Vermont as we explore the important role peer support is playing in the transformation of Vermont's mental health system. The Wellness Co-op, Pathways' peer-run community center is a part of a statewide Mental Health Transformation project. The Wellness Co-op opened its doors to the Burlington community in May 2012 and aims to cultivate a vibrant community supporting resilience through collective learning, creative exploration and mutual support. Founded in the principles of peer support, the Wellness Co-op offers unique resources to all individuals who are looking for choices in how to navigate their path towards wellness. Come learn about the power we have seen in peer support and the promise we believe it holds for the future of Vermont's mental health system.

We will also be screening a recently completed documentary about the project. This documentary takes a closer look at The Wellness Co-op and Another Way, two projects funded by the Department of Mental Health's Mental Health Transformation Grant. These projects have touched the lives of many Vermonters through the promotion of resilience, community and transformation. The film will be followed by a brief discussion.
