River Arts Poetry "Clinic" with Special Guest Tamra Higgins

River Arts welcomes Author and Poet, Tamra J. Higgins to lead its ongoing Poetry Clinic Tuesday, June 16th, at 6 p.m. Higgins is the founder of Sundog Poetry Center, an organization that promotes poets and poetry throughout Vermont and is the current President of the Poetry Society of Vermont. Her work has been published in Prairie Schooner, Passagers, Modern Haiku, Avocet, The Aurorean, The Mountain Troubadour, Vermont Magazine, and other publications. She is the author of Nothing Saved Us: Poems of the Korean War and co-editor of Tasteful Traditions: A Collection of Cambridge History, Memories, and Family Recipes. She lives in Jeffersonville, Vermont.

The River Arts Poetry Clinic provides budding and experienced poets a place to gather, write, and share. Participants engage in generative poetry writing exercises and constructive group critique every first and third Tuesday from 6-8pm, at the River Arts Center in Morrisville.
