The June meeting of the Calais/E. Montpelier Historical Societies Meeting will be held on Monday, June 15 at the East Calais Rec. Center. It will start at 5:30 PM (Note-earlier time), with a Potluck. Durwood Lamb, who grew up in E. Calais, will talk about life in the Village "back when", as well as more interesting history of the Village. His presentation will (probably) include a tour of the Falls, where remnants of some of the early industry in the Village still exist. It is very interesting, and the tour is optional, and weather permitting. Thus, the reason for the earlier start time.

There will be a brief business meeting following the "festivities". All are welcome, and we encourage new members.
