Attention All Poultry Owners

Walter Cottrell, DVM, will present to the Backyard Poultry Growers Group on Monday, June 22 at 6:00 pm at the Baldwin Library, 33 Main Street North, Wells River. Dr. Cottrell will cover the natural history and ecology of the avian influenza virus and its recent history of high path emergence. He will conclude with recommendations for how poultry growers can prepare. A question & answer period and refreshments will follow the presentation. All are welcome to attend. Dr. Cottrell practiced veterinary medicine for both large and small animals for many years in Bradford and Newbury. He is also a wildlife biologist.
