Mark your calendars for Tuesday, June 16, 2015 for our 20th Annual Back to Beach Barbecue. All of Shelburne residents are invited to attend this special free event. The Recreation Department and Committee will provide the hamburgers and hotdogs grilled by the Dutchmill Family Restaurant at our beach from 6-8. We will also provide chips,condiments, and drinks. We ask that everyone bring a dish to share with others—main dish, salad, dessert. This year we will have a raffle to help defray the cost of the ramp off the new lift that is being installed. This is a welcome addition so all can enjoy our beach. We will be raffling gift certificates from Shelburne Craft School and Yoga Roots, a Shelburne Beach pass (residents only), Recreation program gift certificate, and a family picnic hosted by the Recreation Committee. The tickets can be purchased at the Recreation Office or at the Barbecue for $3 a piece or 2 for $5? We will also have a donation bucket for anyone who would like to contribute toward this. There will be a bouncy house for the children to enjoy. We also have a volleyball court, if anyone would like to have a pick up game. A reminder that no dogs/animals are allowed past the gate at anytime--thank you.
