My a capella jazz quintet Calloway Taxi will be doing a couple gigs this weekend. We're performing as part of the bicentennial celebration for the Old Round Church in Richmond, singing for about 45 minutes at 12:00 noon on Saturday, August 10th. We're second in the lineup of performers which also includes Burlington Irish; Bill Ellis; Tim Whiteford and Marie Johnson; Longford Row; Young Tradition; and Robert Resnick and Marty Morrissey.

Also, if you'd like a pleasant drive on a Sunday afternon, on Sunday August 11th, Calloway Taxi returns to St. John's Episcopal Church in Highgate Falls (directions here). We'll be performing a concert from 4:00 - 5:30 PM (two sets, short intermission, solos in the 2nd half).
