Bring your family and friends to the Bakersfield Independence Day Celebration!
On Saturday July 4th 2015 enjoy a full day of activities, including a 12 noon parade & chicken BBQ, 7 pm air show followed by fireworks at dusk. Other entertainment includes a book sale, fun run, blessing of animals, local music, cow plop contest, silent auctions, horseshoe tournament, and afternoon family activities.

Admission to the celebration is free of charge. A plethora of food, snacks and beverages will be available for purchase.

Vendors are welcome to set up on the southern perimeter of the green, no charge. For information contact Penny Goss at 827-3989.

Parade participants are welcome. Please arrive before 11:30 am. The parade will start at the Bakersfield Town Garage on the corner of East Bakersfield Road & Kings Hill Road. Please access from Kings Road. Contact: Mike O'Rourke at 827-3104
