Mad River Chorale spring concerts will take place on Friday evening June 12 at 7:30 pm (Waitsfield United Church) and Sunday afternoon June 14 at 4:00 pm, (Warren United Church).
The Chorale is conducted by Mary Bonhag, also of Scrag Mountain Music. The program, "I Hear America Singing," includes choral works by Stephen Foster, Aaron Copland and Pete Seeger, among others, as well as choral settings of poems by Emily Dickinson and Walt Whitman, also among others. The Chorale will be accompanied as always by pianist Mary Jane Austin of Montpelier. 
Children 11 and under are always admitted free to Mad River Chorale concerts. To order advance tickets to the concerts or find information, visit www.madriverchorale.net or call 496-4781 and leave a message for a callback. Tickets will also be available at the door for both concerts.  
Audience members are asked to bring an item of non-perishable food for the Mad River Valley Food Shelf.
