With Memorial Day behind us it's now time to look ahead to your summer activities. If you are looking for a great way to spend Saturday on Father's Day Weekend (with or without the kids), come out and play in the 4th Annual Mad River Valley Rotary Club Golf Tournament, held this year on Saturday, June 20, 2015. This is a fun way to spend the day with friends and support the Rotary Club's work in the Valley and central Vermont.
As a tournament participant, you get to spend a wonderful day at the Sugarbush Resort Golf Club. The tournament is played in the Scramble format, with team prizes, and competitions for the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin. Sugarbush Resort will also provide a free golf season pass to the first player who scores a Hole In One on its famous 16th hole. Mulligans are available for a modest additional contribution. You can even hire the Sugarbush Golf Pro to hit your drive on #3! Come out and have a great day.
Come join us. Registration starts at 8:30, Shotgun start at 10:00 am. There will be an Awards Reception immediately after the Tournament, with ***lots*** of great raffle prizes.
To get a registration form, call Wayne Foster, Committee Chair for the Tournament, at 496-9514, or email waynefoster@gmavt.net, then mail the form to the Club at the address included. Put together your own team of four players or sign up as an individual -- the Tournament Committee will assign you to a team.
This Tournament has developed a reputation for good competition and lots of fun. Come join us this year and see for yourself.
