If you are a player or a person who would like to try one of the fastest growing sports in the
country, Ron and Marilyn Tofani, USAPA Ambassadors and local player Jan Murray will have
you playing by the end of the session.
Pickleball, a sport conceived in the Seattle area came to be in the mid-sixties as a game for
summer residents on Bainbridge Island played in one of the founders driveways.
It's a court game played with a paddle, a whiffle type ball and a net similar to a tennis net.
The game is a cross between badminton, tennis, ping pong played on a twenty by forty four foot
court about a third the size of a tennis court.
COME AND PLAY IF YOU'RE A PLAYER AND LEARN IF YOU'RE A BEGINNER !
Players will improve their skills with drills and beginners will learn a new sport
Wear court shoes (sneakers) and comfortable clothing
