The Kirk Singers from Fort Lauderdale, comprised of 9th through 12th grade students, is a choir that rehearses weekly and sings each Sunday in worship. The choir's repertoire ranges from standard choral literature to musical theater to contemporary Christian music with accompanying rhythm section. This ensemble has toured annually since 1964 throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, New Zealand and Central America. The focus on each tour is to share the choir's love of God through music with as many different people as possible. There are 35 singers in the Kirk Singer program and 10 singers in this year's tour choir. The Kirk Singers will be singing at The White Meeting House, 8 North Main Street, on Monday June 8th at 6:00pm. This is a free concert.
