The Monkton Museum and Historical Society will host "Bridport Wagon Train West," a presentation by Margaret French Sunderland on Monday, June 15th at the East Monkton Church on Church Road in Monkton. The presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. The presentation is about the wagon train that left Bridport in the early 1800s bound for farmland in Illinois. Refreshments will be served. Parking will be along Church Road. Carpooling is recommended. Note that there are no restroom facilities at the church. Also, there are a few stairs at the entrance to the historic church.
