Tree Giveaway and Planting Workshop

Attendees will learn:
how big trees benefit our community
hands-on demonstration of how to plant a tree
how to take care of our young and old trees
15 free shade trees will be given away to attendees by raffle, including Elm, Red Maple, Burr Oak, Sycamore, Swamp White Oak
This free workshop is sponsored by the Town of Middlebury, and made possible through a grant from The Vermont Urban & Community Forestry Program (VT UCF), a partnership between the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks & Recreation and the University of Vermont Extension.
