Come to the Walk for Animals on Saturday to show your support for shelter animals. Walking shows our community that animals are important and need our care. Collect financial donations and bring them with you. Bring at least $50 and get a free Walk for Animals t-shirt. Pledge sheets and more details are at www.centralvermonthumane.org/walk
Registration is at 9:30 am and the Walk starts at 10 am. The route this year starts and ends at Montpelier High School and includes walking across the State House steps. The post-walk celebration will be held at @ noon and will include free Birchgrove Baking cake, ice cream. Prizes will be awarded to the walkers who raise the most money.
