Annual Cheese Tasting June 11

Past event
Jun 11, 2015, 7 PM

The popular, annual Cheese Tasting event at the Brookfield Old Town Hall is almost here! Cheese enthusiasts will gather and gorge on some of Vermont's finest next Thursday, June 11th at 7pm. Reservations required to lkellyvt@gmail.com by Monday, June 8th. Admission is $10 (all proceeds support the Old Town Hall restoration fund).

Once again, the tasting will be led by Allison Hooper of Vermont Creamery. She will lead attendees through nine (!!) cheeses donated by the Vermont Cheese Council. Each cheese will be accompanied by a slide of information about the farm and artisan, as well as a photo so that attendees can identify the cheese again when in a store. Bottled water and seltzer will be available for sale, but BYOB is okay too.

REMINDER! This Saturday is the season-opener potluck at the Old Town Hall. Bring the whole family and your favorite dish to share a meal, enjoy a mini film fest courtesy of Randolph high school students, and get all the neighborhood kiddos together for fun activities planned by local teacher Theresa White.

COMING UP! A few days after the cheese tasting, the "Second Sunday Family Fun Day" series will launch on June 14th at 10:30 am at the Old Town Hall. The first event in this new series will be "Get Outside: Discover the World of Nature" with teacher naturalist and W. Brookfielder Mary Zentara. Stay tuned for more details!
as she celebrates curiosity, appreciation, and nature.
