The Rutland County Habitat for Humanity affiliate is planning a ground-breaking event to celebrate their first home – a house rehab in Fair Haven at 30 West Street. To kick off this project the board has announced a “Building Block” party on June 27 from 10 – 3:00 PM.

Anyone interested in lending a hand or well-wishers just looking to share in the excitement are invited to stop by and enjoy the complimentary BBQ or help build the yard shed. Festivities will include; standard BBQ fare, balloons for the kids and live music for entertainment – a little work and a little fun to commemorate our “1st build”!
