This Thursday is the second Thursday of the month which means Senior Lunch at the Masons' Libanus Lodge on the the corner of North & Elm St. This month we will be serving mixed vegetable and pork soup and a fresh fruit salad. The main course is meatloaf with gravy, mashed potatoes, fried green tomatoes (donated by Pete Hansen) and homemade applesauce (apples from Gert Bingham). Marlene Benway is baking applesauce cake from a recipe from Hazel Bristol that Gert shared with us. Lunch is served at noon, but come early and see many of your neighbors.
