I wanted to share an exciting event with fellow FPF readers. Our very own Dorilee LeBlanc, life long VT'er and Shelburne resident was recently crowned Mrs. Vermont! As a good friend, I wanted to share this and encourage support from community members. Dorilee will be competing in the national Mrs. America pageant in September. Her platform is Unplug from Technology and Reconnect to the Great Outdoors, which is so relevant in today's technology dependant world. So far, she has dedicated her time to promoting outdoor activities in Vermont!
To help raise funds to create her Vermont costume for the pageant (televised with over 70 MILLION viewers!), Dorilee is having a Ladies Night Out event. Join her for an evening of fun on Saturday, June 13th from 4-7 at Palmer's Sugarhouse, 332 Shelburne Hinesburg Road, Shelburne.
