Join us for a special presentation, "Nine Months to Gettysburg", on Friday, June 26 at 7 pm and learn about the role that local soldiers played at Pickett's Charge in helping to end the Civil War. Stephen Leach, Pawlet native and Staff Sgt, US Army Retired, is the featured speaker. Staff Sgt Leach is the current Quartermaster at the Manchester VFW Post and has spent years researching and making presentations about the Civil War. The event is being held at 10 South Main St, Danby (green building across from Nichols Store).

This is a fundraising benefit for the Danby-Mt Tabor Veterans Memorial. Admission is $7 per person. For a $10 donation, you will receive admission and a $5 raffle ticket toward a special "Tap Wood" table Bob Gasperetti has designed to support the memorial. Additional raffle tickets available at $5 each or 3 for $10. Come learn about our valiant local soldiers and help support the veterans memorial.
