Public Comments Sought on Draft 2015 Northwest Regional Plan
The Northwest Regional Planning Commission (NRPC) is seeking your comments on the draft 2015 Northwest Vermont Regional Plan. Copies of the draft plan are available at the NRPC office, 75 Fairfield St., St. Albans, VT or online at www.nrpcvt.com.
The draft Northwest Regional Plan was created under the guidance of the NRPC Board of Commissioners. The purposes of the plan are multifold. The plan addresses the economic, social and environmental factors that influence and sustain growth and development in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. It is intended for use as a guide for decision makers, as a vision for the region and as an eight-year action plan to address issues of regional importance. The draft plan relies heavily on the work completed as part of the Healthy People, Strong Communities project and incorporates ideas heard at more than twenty public meetings.
