Harbor Place Tour This Saturday - Definitely Worth Doing!

If you want to see first hand what Harbor Place is all about, I encourage you to take advantage of the upcoming guided (45 min) tour this Saturday, June 6 at 10 AM.

I recently took the tour with Chris Donnelly, Director of Community Relations at Champlain Housing Trust, and Property Manager Dan Mendl. They are top notch professionals who speak with great honesty about the critical role Harbor Place fills for homeless families and individuals. No question is too tough for them, and they truly welcome feedback from Shelburne residents.

The day I took the tour of Harbor Place it was full, and this included 14 children, otherwise homeless, who were living with their families there. All residents are supported by on-site professionals from area agencies and the school age children are able to continue their studies at schools throughout Chittenden County.

I hope you'll be able to attend the tour this Saturday, and learn, like I did, what CHT is working to accomplish there.
