For almost 40 years the Village Green and Saratoga Ave neighborhood has held a garage sale the first Sat. in June. In recent years we have added a potluck picnic on Brandywine St. All are welcome to participate. If you live up on the hill I suggest you post a sign on Village Green advertising your location. The potluck works this way. It begins around 5ish. Bring your own silverware and plates, beverages, and lawn chairs. Bring food to share- so enough for you and others. There will be a grill. The street is blocked off so kids can ride bikes on the street. This is a chance to meet all your neighbors. If you are having a sale you should contribute to the cost of the Free Press ad.
