The Burlington Irish Heritage Festival committee will meet at 6 PM Tuesday, September 10, for a relaxed social hour and planning session for the annual St. Patrick's Day celebrations. Anyone with an interest in the culture, music, history, or language of Ireland, whether you are of Irish heritage or not, is welcome to come get acquainted at the Brewster River Campground on VT 108, three miles south of Jeffersonville. Preliminary discussions are under way for the 2014 festivities, which the committee has expanded beyond the mid-March period to include activities throughout the year. An informal potluck will kick off the evening with a chance to roast hot dogs over the campfire before the business portion of the evening begins.
