With Summer comes a whole new calendar of events here at Shelburne Vineyard. Mark your calendars for what is coming up during the coming week.

This Thursday, June 4, at 6 pm, don't miss our monthly First Thursday Concert. This month features a return engagement with local musician, Aaron Flinn. Join us as Flinn brings his folk, indie rock and classic country blend, his powerful voice and finger-picking guitar to the Vineyard. Come early, bring a chair or blanket if the weather is nice and settle in with friends and family for a night of great music; in case of rain, the concert will go on indoors. Admission is free and all are welcome. Shelburne Vineyard Wines and Fiddlehead will be for sale by the glass and Burger Barn will be here with their foodtruck to provide supper. A portion of proceeds will go to Vermont Cares.

Then, on Sunday, June 7, join us to meet local artist, Rory Jackson whose works comprise our Summer Art Exhibit. The exhibit is on display beginning today through August 31, but if you'd like to meet the artist and learn more about his work and his inspiration, stop by for the Artist reception on Sunday. Jackson, who divides his time between Lincoln VT and the beach of Cape Three Points in Ghana, has hung a collection of his giclée prints on canvas at Shelburne Vineyard and regularly exhibits his original works at Edgewater Gallery in Middlebury. The Vineyard exhibit will be in place from June 1 through August 31. The reception Reception will take place Sunday, June 7 from 2-4 pm. The Artist’s Reception is open to all and will feature wine by the glass and a light refreshment of local cheeses and meats.
