Join us for a morning of applied ecology. We will put in a perennial vegetable and medicinal herb planting at an established residential urban homestead just outside downtown Montpelier. We will also explore the larger planting layout of the property — berries, fruit trees, vegetable garden, nuts and flowers — and discuss the design principles in play. We will cover individual plant species as we arrange and complete an addition to the existing gardens. Ample time and flexibility for discussion and Q&A based on the interests of the students.
