Charlotte Little Champs Get-together
Hosted by the Charlotte Coalition for the Young Child
A group of CCS staff and members of the local community have come together to form the Charlotte Coalition
for the Young Child with the following mission: Establish a local Young Child Coalition in Charlotte, made up of early-education partners, families of young children (0-5), child care and service providers, and other individuals with a commitment to supporting young children and their families, with the goal of increasing mutual awareness, knowledge, understanding among members of the coalition in support of all children’s physical, social, and emotional well-being. With this mission at the center of the work, the group has been gathering this year to begin the task of building networks, connections, and relationships that support the families of our youngest children. As a result, the Coalition is pleased to announce the first CCS Little Champs Get-Together event, scheduled for Thursday, June 4, 5:30 – 7:00, at the
CCS pre-school playground. Please consider attending if you have children who are 0-5 years old. (Older siblings are welcome.) We encourage you to invite other families who have children of this age as well but may not yet be connected with CCS! We hope to see some of you there!
