Jim Rooney (pictured) is a Grammy Award-winning record producer best known for bringing Americana music into the spotlight. A Nashville stalwart for decades, he’s worked with a who’s who of top artists — Muddy Waters, Bill Monroe, John Prine, Nanci Griffith and Townes Van Zandt, to name a few. Pat Alger is a Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee. Together, he and Rooney made their mark with a string of No. 1 hits, and performed as part of the famed Woodstock Mountain Revue in their off time.
