Dear Neighbors, I am a board member of a new non-profit called Technology for Tomorrow (T4T) whose mission is to bring communities and generations together. Technology for Tomorrow is a 501c3 nonprofit that was started by a South Burlington High School student, Neel Desai, in 2012 as a community service project. Since then, we've formalized a bit and grown our reach to include chapters at other local schools and continued to offer free technology/computer workshops in South Burlington. Our first public event is coming up and is designed to share the magic of local communities coming together through free technology education. To share the excitement and impact of our work with local senior citizens, we’ll be showing the documentary film “Cyber-Seniors”, a joyful illustration of all that senior citizens can experience when they learn how to use technology for themselves, and to connect to their family and community. The film chronicles the journey of a group of senior citizens as they discover the world of the Internet, through the guidance of teenage mentors.
