The State of VT has scheduled information sessions on the Shoreland Protection Act. These one-hour meetings are aimed at associations, neighbors, contractors, etc. All sessions are open to the public. For each session, Dan Homeier, Regional Permit Analyst, will review the Shoreland Protection Act regulations that now apply to development within 250 feet of lakes and ponds and the Lake Encroachment regulations that apply to development within lakes (docks, boat houses, etc.).
