Craftspeople throughout Vermont will be opening their studios this weekend as part of the Vermont Crafts Council's Open Studio Weekend. In Starksboro, Ellen Spring's studio, with hand-painted silk clothing, will be open on Ireland Road; Jim Geier's workshop,Vermont Folk Rocker, can be visited just off Rt. 116 north of town; and Judith Bryant Pottery, formerly Lincoln Pottery, opens her new studio in the Starksboro Village Center building, across the parking lot from the post office. Studios will be open state-wide from 10AM-5PM, both Saturday and Sunday, with craft demonstrations and sales. Maps are available at Art on Main in Bristol and at each artist's studio showing all the studios open throughout Vermont.
