Finders Keepers Exhibit
Friday, September 13 through Sunday, September 15

Artist Keith Mailhotte carves eggshells with intricate lacy designs, paints or varnishes them, and tucks them safely into antique tins. Then he chooses a hiding place for his eggshell, snaps some photographic clues, and hides the tins in locations all over Vermont. “Hunters” search for the eggs, aided by the clues posted on Facebook, and the finders get to keep the eggs. To date, Keith has hidden more than 500 eggshells, most of which have been found. This special weekend-long exhibit will bring all these eggs and their keepers back together for viewing by the public.

Two Curiosity Heirloom goose eggs will be auctioned off to benefit The Art House. Artist Keith Mailhotte will host the Hunters’ Party on Friday, September 13 at 7:00 pm with pizza by donation.
